The Proud Group are looking for an in-house designer to join their fast-paced office in Camden. You will manage all creative design projects, and provide artwork support across the Proud portfolio of venues in London and Brighton, and support the development of all Company products and shows.
Ongoing responsibilities will include: creating and editing artwork for print and publication (including: venue posters/point of sale/promotional materials and sales brochures), artwork for Proud websites and social media channels, maintaining and updating signage and key branding at venues, designing new show/club night design concepts or logos, and ensuring that all sales and marketing materials are consistent with the Proud brand and company style.
- Motion graphics skills and some video editing skills would be a plus but are not necessary.
- You will have a solid foundation in typography, excellent layout and print production skills and a basic knowledge of web design.
- Accuracy and attention to detail will be crucial.
- You will need to manage a heavy workload, work to tight deadlines, and be comfortable with shifting priorities and managing multiple projects concurrently.
- You will need to be organised and efficient, and able to prioritise your own workload.
You will report to Proud’s Marketing Manager, who you will work closely with on brand and artwork development. You will also need to work closely with the sales / promotions and operations teams, to understand their artwork requirements, and desired outcomes and you will occasionally be required to report directly to the CEO. Strong communication skills and a willingness to accept direction and work to specific briefs will be useful. This role requires a candidate with a proactive and collaborative approach, and the ability to use their own initiative.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design. Evidence of practical work experience and on the job training will be accepted as an alternative.
2+ years of Graphic Design experience in an agency or similar fast paced environment.
Advanced knowledge and experience using Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
IT literate with previous use of website CMS
Advanced knowledge and experience using Apple Mac and its applications.
Proven creative experience – evidenced by a strong portfolio
