Designer Something More NearLondon, England, GB
Something More Near is a multi-disciplinary agency that helps organisations make the most of moments of transition. We work in the space where business, brand, communications and culture collide. We develop and deliver strategic projects with a strong creative mindset and with imaginative execution. You can see more about us and our current projects at www.somethingmorenear.com
We are currently a small team made up 6 people; the founders – Simon Myers and David Gunn, a Strategist, a Programme Manager, a Curator and Editor (who spend much of her time on www.whitenoise.city). We’re now in need of a top-notch Designer to join this small but growing operation. We are based in London.
We are looking for a great designer, comfortable in both digital and print, to work with us on projects and with a host of creative partners. The projects will range across creating and evolving brand identities, designing and delivering websites, innovative one-off creative projects, T-shirts and publishing. We are based around a networked model of talent and this role will mean working with a wide range of external talent – illustrators and artists, writers and more. Because our core team is small, the role is a an extremely important one and will offer a range of multi-disciplinary opportunities as well as space to grow as the business grows. The role would suit someone who has some experience and wants to learn new ways of working as well as commit to a different type of agency.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of four years experience as a designer with experience working within an agency
- Can demonstrate design excellence and potential
- Can be a collaborative worker and a good communicator
- Can run more than one project at a time
- Can manage others – inside and outside the business effectively
- Can discuss work and projects with clients
- Can bring experience but also wants to learn
We’re looking to recruit as soon as possible. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
