“Starts studies in graphic design but is quickly captivated by industrial design, which brings him to graduate in that discipline at the E.A.A. i Oficis Artístics Llotja de Barcelona.
He firmly believes that design is communication and that beyond projects based on arbitrary points, frivolity or experiments, there is a way to design that offers workable solutions allowing the design to be set as a bridge between the user’s physical-spiritual needs and the company that materializes them.
A dreamer, passionate designer, with curious eyes and accurate worker, he uses his discipline as a resource to improve and change societies, happy to work out improvements or new solutions and to convey enthusiasm for the project to the customer.”
At present he develops his job basically in four areas very differentiated, that allow him to have a privileged general vision of the design and its execution.
From the year 1998, he is the director of the technical department and design at ALUTEC, SL, a recognised manufacturer of furniture for collectivities and restoration. From here he designs principally specific furniture for these concrete sector and market.
From the year 2000, in which he founds ozestudi (http://www.elmundodeoz.com/eng ) , together with his partner and friend Oriol Vidal, he develops labours as project officer.
From here he undertakes, thanks to external orders, all kind of projects of very important typologies for the most diverse companies and industries, both of industrial design and of graphic design and/or communication.
Throughout the years his company has accumulated more than fifteen prizes and/or recognitions that support the labour carried out during his path. He has worked for clients like Unilever, Lékúe, Derbi, Araven, El Corte Inglés and Chupachups between others.
From the year 2001 he is also project officer of SELIOM, SL in its division of engineering, where he carries out analysis, improvements and optimisations of the existant products for third companies and industries.
From SELIOM he has developed and managed the launch of products that go from the infantile, energetic and safety sectors up to the sanity sector between others.
From the year 2004 he takes part actively as industrial designer in all the process of innovation and new products of the company APLISUN, SL, dedicated exclusively to the sector of the renewable energies. From here he has taken part and co-directed the design of the new generation of thermal captors and supports both of APLISUN and of other many companies, between which we can emphasize ISOFOTON, UNISOLAR, WOLF, FRIGICOLL and LAPESA. The company has received, for its excellent labour of design, numerous prizes in the matter.
At present, he is very involved in labours for the spreading of the industrial design. He writes regularly in some digital publications and he has been, in several occasions, lecturer of design.
