The Role:
The Senior Designer/Team Lead is an original thinker and team leader who translates creative concepts
into a visually stunning format, with emphasis on branding and identity.
The ideal candidate will have a deep portfolio that demonstrates design excellence in bringing major brands
and products to life in print and out-of-home advertising, retail point of sale, and brand development.
This role is for a highly capable individual contributor who can also direct internal and external creative
resources, and has the composure and communication talent to effectively present to senior executives.
Reporting to the Creative Director, the right person for this role will have demonstrated experience

Key Responsibilities:
Design for various types of projects including branding and identity, POS, print, and OOH under

Work closely with Copywriters and Art Directors on integrated campaigns to ensure design integrity
and brand alignment across all touch points

Work effectively with outside suppliers such as photographers and printers when required.
Work with team to create and illustrate the company’s messaging graphically by designing eye catching

Building and maintaining a rapport with internal clients, partners, agencies and other vendors.
Providing quality assurance of all creative deliverables.
Serves as a strong creative collaborator and idea generator in partnership with advertising agencies,
brand management, and other teams.

Stay on top of emerging technologies and trends.
Contribute your ideas and work as part of an integrated, multi-discipline agency team.
Visualize and verbalize your ideas to team and client
Develop and maintain brand style guide and usage guidelines
Provide design leadership for specific creative projects, from concept to execution including allocation
and coordination of assignments among graphic design staff

Train and develop designers and artists to achieve team objectives and personal growth.
Present ad concepts effectively to senior executives
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience leading creative, and building creative teams with globally respected agencies.
Strong conceptual thinking
Strong understanding of typography and design
Ability to take art direction and critique
Ability to lead, guide and mentor junior designers
Passionate about popular culture, emerging technologies and design trends
Ability to collaborate with a team and also work autonomously
Strong presentation skills
Solid understanding of production process
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite design programs
Fluent in English
Graphic Design or equivalent design degree preferred.
Ability and comfort working with clients at the executive level within the organization.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (listening, oral, written, presentation) skills
Experience with technology brands spanning both business and consumer audiences are desirable.
Ability to gracefully handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Possess knowledge and skill toward the creative design and execution of customer-facing materials.
Such knowledge and skill includes: design theory (balance, symmetry, alignment, etc.), illustration, photo
editing, typography, layout, copy writing, printing processes, color spaces, space measurements, contrast,
resolutions, pre-flight best practices and other considerations that may vary by execution channel.;
Advertising or Marketing agency experience, or in-house design/creative experience beneficial.
Ability to drive the design development and review cycle
