GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Graphics Designer & Coordinator “GCD” is responsible for the creation and execution of brand image,
product messaging, and creative support. The GCD works with Product & Trade Marketing to identify
creative vendors and prioritize creative projects such as packaging, promotional materials, catalogs
and website deliverables for new and existing product initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and Coordinate Design Request for Creative Services Deliverables with peers from Product and Trade Marketing
Lead New Products and Promotions “Arena” creative process to hit targeted NPD timelines
Ensure Flawless Documentation of Artwork (Collaboration with Document Control)
Lead creation of product, promotions and packaging collateral and images
Help set Product / Lifestyle Photography
Work with Product and Trade Marketing to develop in-store merchandising
Help build powerful customer presentations through supplying breakthrough graphics and creative
Create mock-up packaging for customer presentations
Coordinate third-party creative support firms including graphics designers and material suppliers
__Lead Management of internal and supplier files, including hand-off
Help Establish and Document Brand Standards - design style
Help create instruction Manual/Tech Document Management
Website Updates and Maintenance
Ability to execute large quantity of new packaging designs across high number of sku’s
(normal customer line review is 60 to 120 sku’s)
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High school education required. B.A. in Graphic Design preferred or related courses.
Expert Mac knowledge and of all software programs inherent with graphics design to include but not limited
to: Freehand, Quark Xpress, Illustrator, Photoshop.
Minimum two years packaging and/or creative design experience against high number of sku’s.
Able to maintain and troubleshoot Mac Equipment.
