In parallel, I started since july 2004 an activity in freelance in various fields of intervention (produced, packaging, arrangement(development) of inside, furniture). I wish to collaborate with design agencies or companies which need an outside glance to take care of a project in its entirety (conception, Creation, development, followed by the realization of the prototype) and to manage or not the relations with the suppliers. My various work experiences allowed me to acquire certain know how to make, an international opening and a capacity to adapt me according to the customers and the situations. I would be happy to present you one outlines of my portfolio, in: www.gabar.canalblog.com, to maintain you more my motivation and to convince you of my experience (experiment) and my capacities, to join your team of creative..

Graphic designer Kosova
ProjectGRAPHICS is a leading creative factory that brings together a group of young and inspiring talents in the field of contemporary design, publishing, web design, architecture and marketing.
It nurtures a diverse interactive creativity since 2002, when it was founded by Agon Çeta, its lead designer, as a response to the overwhelming demands over his illustrious straight lined designs that marked his generation.
The studio nourishes the concept of becoming one with the client, dousing the traditional perception of this bond and creating a new entity that strives to achieve perfection, both aesthetically and commercially. The greater the challenge, the stronger the ties become, as one side gives shape to the thoughts of the other in multi-layered creations that are both practical and beautiful.
ProjectGRAPHICS Studio, the soul of the architects and graphic designers, it is hardly surprising that even their works shown on the form, structure, lines of preference and focus.
ProjectGRAPHICS artworks have been featured in many design publications such as: Young European Graphics Designers, 2007 (Daab, Germany), Logo Design 2, 2009 (Taschen, Germany), Web Design Navigation, 2009 (Taschen, Germany), Graphic Designology 300+, 2008 (La Vie, Taiwan), Web Design Index 7, 2007 (Pepin Press, Amsterdam), Web Design Index by Content 4, 2009 (Pepin Press, Amsterdam), NoAH 9 Package Design 2009 (ICO, Japan), and many magazines.

Relax you... a Destino effect!
To 1800s, art and medicine used to be confidentially connected. the harmony between the microcosm and the macrocosm allowed to equilibrium, to health. In this spirit, a therapeutic concept purpose of which is to inspire ease by the object by preserving an obvious functionality orientate my work. Discover my universe of well where time is suspended, the beauty synonymous with purity. Dive yourself totally into a brilliant space. any interferences slumber, an aseptic atmosphere reigns. By returning the unique object, to treat not on the man in general, but always, the individual particularly. Let us discover together declensions of a strict frame of mind which mark out with beacons and soothe down very particular inside by lines of furniture design.

Name: shahab siavash
Birthplace: tehran, iran
Education: gorgan natural resources university | gorgan |city|, golestan |state|, iran
Inspiration: bahram beyzaei, mehdi akhavan sales, mostafa mastour, reza abedini, ebrahin nabavi
Growing up in tehran, my interest in art started with a comic book that my older brother gave to me. He encouraged me to draw my own using oil pastels. I became totally hooked and started drawing caricatures (i was so young & these caricatures were most copies from iranian caricature masters such as nikahang kowsar & mana neyestani &… from original works… [sometimes my copies were better than originals?]) i was attracted to graphic design as a means of expression and later on started to explore computer software to enhance my rough sketches and drawings. I always loved experimenting with new fonts and typefaces and integrated these into my posters and logo designs.
At college i undertook a diploma in mathematics and physics and graduated with a degree in surveying [in iran there is no college like europe: after high school we pass an exam & go to university, mathematics in high school & surveying in university]
I was always involved with arts: such i said: theatre, music & caricatures & painting…also my brother. But in high school because there is no good consulting teacher in our country & students frequently don’t know what field should select, i selected mathematics because my almost high iq test ?
Also maybe for economic & financial problems. Believe me i don’t know myself ! Maybe world cowardice or atrocity?
Plus above that i don’t believe in iranian universities especially in arts with low quality & high expensive expenditure…
Plus one more thing: i don’t want spend my whole life worse, because an old wrong selection in high school! I should go to the art way and i did it.
I have always valued typography and typefaces far more than images and pictures. East art always in history was involved with pictorial & images objects, such as miniature arts or old book design or gild layouts. Of course except persian calligraphy: nasta’aligh, thulth, naskh or… our history is full of images.
I always like to change the formation and appearance of text. In particular i want everyone to know that persian script is different from arabic. Because of this i decided to design a series of new persian fonts with new and unique features. I believe that when done successfully typography can transcend its craft and becomes true art. I also enjoy bringing new technology into the development of my designs and i refer to my hand and pen work as ‘penography’. I take my inspiration from all forms of art but i really admire the iranian new age designers because of their courage and audacity.
If you look at some exhibition & festivals around the world you always find an iranian artist especial graphic designer that participated & win prizes. If you are interested you can search in google. Triennial ukraine, ten images, chaumont, mexico, finland, venice, even usa! Every event in the world contains iranian artists. I don’t know really how, but it is true. Maybe some inner difficult situations and pressure under young age is coming out in this form!
About courageous i mean new manners in working with traditional objects & types & calligraphies. They don’t accept old manners & previous thinking about sacrosanct art & inevitably moral & clean.
New messages & some forbidden & red line subjects, revolving censorship &…
In iran, art is almost completely controlled by government and there is no political works against power. But in out of iran, an iranian artist can do his job! I did some ironic work for that ithaca call & i like it yet. The theme was dream and i taunted clown censorship in iran.
I am interested in aspects of irony and satire and attempt to embed elements within my personal work. I enjoy incorporating indirect ways to communicate the message. I have just completed a personal survey of humour in graphic design and advertising that will be published in tehran.
I usually start out with a theme or slogan that i want to use. After deciding upon its message, i explore the concept by sketching out possible ideas. When i am happy with my intentions i then illustrate the design using the computer. I consider myself as a creative individualist - a new age avant-garde designer that doesn’t accept old things and wants to experience change.
As a typographer i have created over 30 individual type faces by looking into my own culture for inspiration; iranian motifs, persian lettering as well as traditional and historical objects. I devised my own typography based on moala (iranian calligraphy) this is related to that handwriting with pen [kajire] and it’s not typography method. In iran mr. Hamid ajami in a few years ago created a new calligraphy that he named it moala. I created this handwriten base on moala [but with pen, not calligraphy quill] as you know last iranian calligraphy scripts belongs to more 300 years till 900 years ago! But this moala is created some years ago and its fresh!! You can see some here: www.moala.net
I also invented my own method of handwriting by pen that i call kajire. [some here http://sketch.shahabsiavash.com]
it is a kind of flower. [scientific name: carthamus tinctorius] reason of selecting is a little complicated: i try to say ? kajire also is meant “shah-ab” in persian. [shah means king & ab means water: shah ab means king water or water of king. Old iranian people named this flower “shah-ab” or that kajire because its advantages & useful usage in traditional medicine. And now my name is also shahab included shah and ab ! In other hand kajire is another meaning of my first name. I hope i could tell you correct & clear.
and designed the first dirty font in iran. You better know that fonts have some families for themselves such distorted, gothic, curly, typewriter, grunge, dirty &… this font belongs to dirty family because its scratches & scrapes &… but its name is shahabsiavashmixedfont. [also i can put it to distorted family if you want!]
My work has been successfully exhibited including in tehran at the contemporary museum of arts (international visual arts festival of resistance) and in europe (ithaca poster exhibition 2008 in greece).
I believe that there is a movement to change persian type and script and it will start to develop in new ways over the next few years. I have already designed my own separated typeface that alters the persian alphabet so we may use single letters instead of the usual four-formation letters in our language. It is all about forgetting the previous rules and regulations and nerve and courage create new things.

Product/furniture/graphic designer Australia
Kent gration graduated from the university of ballarat with a ba in visual arts (graphic design) in 1997. After nearly a decade as a graphic designer with leading firms in melbourne and brisbane, he established integration studio in 2004. Integration studio is a multi-disciplinary design company, working in the areas of graphic, product and furniture design. The company addresses social and environmental issues through design using a multi-faceted approach. In 2005, kent completed a master of design (product design) at queensland college of art, griffith university, where he achieved a university award for academic excellence. During his masters, kent researched environmentally preferred alternatives in the areas of product and furniture design, including alternatives to queensland's shark control program. He also exhibited his abacus seat as part of the qca eco-street furniture exhibition titled "loop" at 100% design tokyo.
Wambamboo is kent's current range of furniture, which addresses growing concerns regarding the overuse of non-renewable, polluting materials in the furniture industry and their long-term environmental and sociological effects. Kent believes that good design should last forever, but needn't last forever in our environment. Bamboo poles, cross-laminated boards and veneers have been incorporated into the wambamboo range to create stylish and functional furniture and to showcase this renewable and highly sustainable material on the world-stage. The sophisticated treatment of the material reveals its inherent vertical and horizontal laminated grain patterns and represents innovation in design and material usage.
Wambamboo has been exhibited at the salone satellite milan 2007, 100% futures/100% design london 2007 and numerous exhibitions in australia. The costello seat won the prestigious melbourne fringe furniture 2007 premier award for "best sustainable design" and a silver award in the queensland design awards 2008. The range also featured in the "essential 100" guide to 100% design london 2007 and among inhabitat's top 10 sustainable highlights.
