A visionary designer to join Duolingo’s marketing team.
Duolingo’s mission is to develop the best education platform in the world and make it available to everyone. As a marketing designer at Duolingo, you can have a huge impact on the brand. Responsibilities would include: coming up with innovative campaigns, designing websites for these campaigns, and shaping the messaging and style of Duolingo's brand.
We’re looking for someone who:

has visionary marketing/communication design ideas, and experience bringing them to life
is eager to discuss, defend, and implement their designs

At Duolingo you would:
help determine big marketing and communication decisions
be responsible for making sure our brand guidelines are excellent
use photoshop, illustrator, or sketch
design clean, innovative marketing content
implement website designs in HTML/CSS
look at metrics of how your implemented designs are performing and iterate to improve them
work in a fast-paced environment
experience working on marketing campaigns, at a design agency, or shaping the brand of a product
solid web development skills (HTML/CSS)
mastery of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Sketch
online portfolio with plenty of samples
excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to gracefully defend your design decisions
