Multi disciplinary Designer (Melbourne - Paris)
Antoine Damery is a multi disciplinary designer. For him, design has no limits or barriers - gender or race.Adapting to the scale and constraints of various environments, his conceptualisation process is a global approach ranging from Industrial design, Architecture, Transportation design, Graphic and Art. This global vision enables him to express concepts and design solutions at micro and macro scales. Working on a wide variety of projects, he sees the design process as a field of opportunity, by translating ideas, forms and technology from various industries. Either a space surrounding you or a product standing in the palm of your hand, his design is about user interaction and perception – technologies and integration. By transcending social prejudice, his Design aim is to initiates creative thinking within every aspect of a project. His role as a designer is to facilitate collective action by elaborating concepts which become catalysts for the creative process. Through the development of a product, he considers design as an opportunity instead of an absolute necessity. In fact, his design approach is not a forced process that obliges people and actions to adapt, but a dynamic collaboration that brings innovative solutions. Through his experience in car design with Peugeot and Citroen and in architecture with Peddle Thorp Group, his aim for the future is to create multiple bonds between various creative industries in order to express exciting and innovative design solutions for our living environment. graphic and product designer
Born in Delémont the 7th of december 1983
Nationality: Swiss Lives and works in Brussels. Young swiss designer, living and working in Brussels, Zoé Bezençon created « z.b design » in 2008 at the end of her studies in Industrial Design at the ECAL (Ecole cantonal d’Art de Lausanne, 2003-2007). zb design is an independent design studio specialized in product design and corporate identity. Zoé Bezençon has worked in the field of trade fairs scenography, exhibition scenography, lighting, packaging and branding. As a graphic designer, she has collaborated in the creation of websites and other publications. z.b design works regularly with architects and interior designers. « Through my objects, I always try to relate me stories. By composing with the material, intellectual and sensitive, I give them a new identity. I like to think that beyond my projects, we can see a system of representation related to a form of personal mythology. A mix of images from my cultural background, meetings that I make throughout my life, my travels and my ability to challenge me … I focus my reflections on three important issues to human nature: our wealth and our relationship to our environment; different forms of communication; our ability to mediate on our own environment. I believe that looking for the essence of things, the simplicity and obviousness, a high level of sophistication can be achieved. I do not want to reinvent the world; I would claim the right of object to express its poetic charge. » Education 2007, Bachelor Industrial and Product Design at ECAL, Switzerland 2003-2007, ECAL (Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne), Lausanne, étudiante département Industrial and Product Design, Switzerland 2000-2003, Gymnase Cantonal du Bugnon, Lausanne, Baccalaureat Arts Visuels et Philosophie, Switzerland Internships 2008-2009 (5 months) Naos Design, Damien Bihr, Brussels, Belgium 2008 (4 months) Studio Niels van Eijk & Miriam van der Lubbe, Geldrop, Netherlands 2007-2008 (5 months) Studio Chris Kabel, Rotterdam, Netherlands Collaborations 2009-2010, Arch&Types, Susanna Campogrande, Brussels, Belgium 2009, S-tiles, Italian Tiles Towards Sunstainability, EOS, Brussels, Belgium 2009-2010, Pragmawork, Brussels, Belgium 2008-2010, Naos Design, Damien Bihr, Brussels, Belgium Languages French: mothertong English: very good Italian: very good German: good Nederlands: basic Softwares Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign), Rhinoceros, Pro Engineer, Solidworks, Microsoft Office Exhibitions personal or collective 2010 « Le Génie de la Matière », CWB, Paris 2007 Baselworld (International jewellery exhibition of Basel), Alco & Ecal. 2006 ICFF (International Conteporary Furniture Fair of New York), Alco & Ecal. 2006 «Silver Spirit», International Furniture Fair of Milano, Galeria M. Nicolas Quier
Posted by Nicolas Quier [ email ]
