If you have significant experience with web design, web strategy, content creation and management, and would like to be part of an exciting movement focusing on technology- based healthcare, education and public service initiatives, then the University of New Mexico’s Project ECHO has a unique opportunity for you to join our innovative communication team.
This fast-paced position will primarily be responsible for:
•Developing a web strategy, which complements the organizations communications and marketing strategies and which: drives traffic to the website, supports audience engagement and return visits
•Writing engaging and concise content for the website
•Working with teams across the organization to create engaging webpages that clearly articulate our message and our value proposition
•Adapting content and visual components to pre-set CASCADE templates
•Collecting and analyzing web analytics and similar data to understand website visitor patterns and strategizes for ease of use; developing reports for leadership
•Monitoring site traffic and scaling capacity to meet demands and performance expectations
•Maintaining routine backups and administers security to ensure functionality and usability
•Maintain 508 and other accessibility compliance

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with web content management systems, like Cascade or similar
- Graphic design experience
- Experience developing web strategies
